YEREVAN. – One of the achievements of Armenia's Culture Ministry could be called the beginning of restoration of the Dashtadem Fortress in Aragatsotn region, Minister Hasmik Poghosyan told reporters.
“Under the instruction of the Prime Minister, we are preparing a development program on archeology that will be considered a priority in the coming years,” Poghosyan said during a press conference on Saturday.
Another long-term project is launched with the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation, the Minister added.
Dashtadem Fortress was built in the 5th-7th centuries by Kamsarakan family.
