YEREVAN. – Armenia is not coordinating European integration processes with Russia, Armenian Deputy FM Garen Nazarian told reporters commenting on political consultations with Russia this April.
During the consultations in Yerevan, Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Alexey Meshkov who is coordinating relations between Russia and the EU.
“We are holding consultations, but this is not the essence of coordination. We talked about our involvement in the European structures and our relationships within these structures,” Nazarian said.
Asked whether Russia is negative about resumption of talks on Armenia-EU cooperation, the official said: “No such sentiments, I assure you.”
