YEREVAN. – A total of 1.69 percent of Armenia’s GDP was allocated in 2014 for the health care costs in the country.

The aforementioned is noted in the 2014 Budget Execution Report.

Accordingly, the expenses totaled Armenian drams equivalent to approximately US$ 160 million.

The respective expenditures increased by 19.1 percent, as compared to 2013, and primarily on the account of the cost of hospital services.
