YEREVAN. – Almost every year we have more births than usual on June l, head of maternity hospital at the St. Gregory Illuminator medical center Aren Gezalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The doctors of the center meet mother's request and organize planned birth on this day, of course if it is done without harm to the health of a mother and a newborn.

“Nine cesarean sections are planned for June 1. We already have seven births, three women are in labor, and another eight surgeries are planned. God grant that all children and mothers were healthy and without any problems,” Gezalyan said.

Wives of the ambassadors and diplomats working in Armenia visited maternity clinic on Monday and handed over gifts to mothers and newborns.
