YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday received CEO of Veolia Environment Antoine Frerot.

The French company has founded Yerevan Jur in 2006 to provide water supply of Yerevan and surrounding villages.

President Sargsyan welcomed the guest and stressed importance of Veolia company's work in Armenia, adding that the indicators achieved by the company show significant progress. President Sargsyan expressed hope that Mr. Frerot's visit will give new impetus to the work of Yerevan Jur company.

Veolia company CEO said it is with responsibility that his company is carrying out activities in Armenia, using in Armenia the vast experience of water supply that the company gained in other countries. Mr. Frerot noted his company's big and ambitious plans in Armenia as well as desire to expand activities to cover other towns and villages in Armenia, in addition to the capital city. According to him, the goal is to provide 24-hour water supply throughout the country. 

He also informed that the company intends to participate in the tender which will be invited by the Armenian government next year.
