YEREVAN. – Nuclear fuel price-related problems have emerged in Armenia.

Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), Robert Nazaryan, told the aforementioned to reporters on Tuesday in the parliament, as he commented on the expected increase in the price of electricity in the country.

“One reason could be the price of nuclear energy. Fortunately, it has not changed in absolute terms. But the [Armenian] national currency [i.e. the dram] fell [in value] within a year,” Nazaryan noted. “The [electricity] price remained the same in dollars, but it rose in drams; this is a serious problem for us.”
