YEREVAN. - The taxes collected by the Armenian customs authorities in 2014 are 4,6 per cent more as compared to 2013, Armenia’s Finance Deputy Minister Arthur Afrikyan said in the parliament on Tuesday. The total amount of taxes constituted 362,7 billion AMD (about $760 million).
The VAT collected from the aforementioned amount at the border constituted 268 billion AMD, growing by 7,6 per cent over a year.
The total turnover of goods, transported across the customs border in 2014 has grown by 0,4 per cent in AMD, having reduced by 1,1 per cent in USD.
The total export turnover has grown by 3,4 per cent in AMD and 1,9 per cent in USD.
