The delegation headed by Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met with president of Czech Senate Milan Stech.

Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Stech noted importance of Armenian PM's visit to the Czech Republic, expressing confidence that this will contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations between the states and will promote cooperation in different directions.

Armenian PM for his part expressed confidence that the visit will be important in terms of development of bilateral relations.

The sides noted the need to intensify economic ties, expand inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as collaboration within international agencies. The interlocutors touched upon regional problems, peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict, Armenia's membership to the Eurasian Economic Union, expansion of Armenia-EU relations.
