YEREVAN. – OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ivica Dacic reminded about the need to respect ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone.

Mr. Dacic said he was informed about “some ideas” on expanding the number of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs during his meetings with Azerbaijani officials in Baku.

“This is not a new proposal. But consensus is needed so that the decision could be made. We will probably study the offer,” he said, adding that OSCE Minsk Group has to continue its work.

“I spoke about it in Baku, and will repeat it in Yerevan. There are less heavy issues than the status, and they need to be discussed. These are issues related to the search for missing persons, refugees, displaced persons. But for it is first of necessary to promote peace, implement the agreement to respect the ceasefire,” the Serbian FM added.
