YEREVAN. – Armenian and Serbian Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Ivica Dacic have signed a memorandum on cooperation.

Armenian and Serbian people have long-standing friendly relations, and they have repeatedly stretched out a helping hand to each other, Minister Nalbandian said during a joint press conference after the talks. As an example of particular relations, the Minister spoke about Serbian president's visit for the Armenian Genocide Centennial events.

During today's meeting the sides discussed moves to expand cooperation. They noted with satisfaction the intensification of political dialogue. Armenia and Serbia intend to work towards facilitation of visa regime, as well as the opening of embassies.

Regarding cooperation in the framework of the OSCE, Nalbandian reaffirmed Armenia's assistance to the priorities of the Serbian presidency. The sides touched upon the Ukrainian crisis, noting the need for the strict implementation of the Minsk agreements. The parties also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In this regard, the OSCE Chairman reaffirmed Serbia's support for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group.
