Armed forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries will conduct the “Great Cooperation 2015” joint combat shooting military exercises.
Commander of the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Aleksandr Golovko, stated the aforesaid at Wednesday’s regular meeting of the Defense Ministers’ Council of the CIS member countries, which is held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
“The joint military exercises are proposed to be held from September 7 to 25,” said Golovko, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
The defense ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan have agreed to participate in these military drills.
