YEREVAN. – The Russian Federation (RF) entry ban is lifted for 2,215 citizens of Armenia.

Head of the Armenian State Migration Agency (ASMA), Gagik Yeganyan, told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, a total of 8,794 citizens of Armenia have applied to ASMA since the beginning of the respective process, and 8,204 petitions were sent to Russia for a review. 

“Responses were received from the RF on 5,594 petitions. Moreover, the ban is lifted for 2,215 citizens [of Armenia]. The trend of increasing positive responses, since the beginning of this year, has maintained as of May.

“It turns out that the answer is positive in the case of two out of three petitions,” Yeganyan specifically said adding that the submission of petitions is still in progress.
