YEREVAN. – Spring hail damaged around 1,400 hectares in Armenia, Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said during the government's meeting on Thursday.
Mainly perennial crop, including orchards, was damaged. The total affected area was about 1,400 hectares, including orchards and vineyards of 350-400 hectares. A few days later a working group with representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture and Territorial Administration will present a final assessment of the damage.
