YEREVAN. – It is necessary to demand recognition of the Armenian Genocide, representative of Armenia's Jewish community Adelina Livshic said during a media conference on Thursday.

The motto “Remember and Demand” is for all nations that survived the genocide and those who realize what it is.

“If we forget about the victims of the Second World War [6 million Jews] and the First World War [1.5 million Armenians during the Genocide], we will simply lose the reason for existence,” she emphasized.

The Jewish community has recently held an event during which it was stated what happened with the Jews was the direct consequence of silence over the Armenian Genocide.
