YEREVAN. – The Armenian officers and noncommissioned officers, who carry out military service on the line of contact with the adversary, will receive a higher pension.
Such a decision was reached at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
The Deputy Minister of Defense, Ara Nazaryan, introduced the respective draft decision.
Accordingly, from now on, the amount of time spent in military watch on the line of contact with the adversary will be taken into account when determining the amount of pension to be paid to the military servicemen of Armenia’s Armed forces.
The aforesaid time will be calculated double the amount.
To note, as of July 1, the pensions of all military servicemen of Armenia will increase.
