YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 477.52/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.12 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 542.27 (up by AMD 11.40), that of one British pound was AMD 737.15 (up by AMD 7.94), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.68 (down by AMD 0.27), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 256.32, AMD 18,308.01 and AMD 16,960.39, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 900,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 477.75/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 477.75/$1.
