YEREVAN. – We need to jointly fight against corruption in Armenia.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Mkrtich Minasyan noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Saturday.

In his words, Armenia’s accession to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union does not mean Moscow has given a “green light” for corruption in the country.

“On the contrary, to be more successful and competitive in this union, we need to root out corruption and fight against it with joint forces. This is not just the authorities’ work, but of the whole community.

“We all need to be intolerant toward corruption. Both the executive and legislative authorities and the society need to be unwavering,” Minasyan said.
