YEREVAN. – There should be equal rights in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) for health care.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Mkrtich Minasyan said the aforementioned at a press conference on Saturday.

At present, solely emergency medical assistance is considered a joint free medical care among the EEU member countries (Armenia, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan).

“Of course, work should be not only in Armenia, but also in the other [EEU] republics, so, for example, Armenians bound for Russia can get [medical] assistance there with the same conditions as the Russia residents receive,” Minasyan stated.

He added, however, that respective normative regulations should be designed.
