YEREVAN. – An accident occurred on Sunday at around 1:30pm in Downtown Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

Czech citizen Daniela Valtrova, 47, driving a Škoda, had run over Rene Avetisyan, 5.

The driver, however, did not fled the scene, reported Shamshyan.com. She took the child to a hospital with her car.

A report is being prepared on the incident. 

According to the source, Valtrova works as head of administration at the Czech Republic Embassy in Armenia.

The five-year-old boy is doing fine. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Sourb Astvatsamayr (Holy Mother of God) Medical Center that on the same day, the child was transferred to them, with an ambulance, from the hospital in Arabkir district.

 

The child was diagnosed with a foot fracture, and he received outpatient treatment and was discharged from the hospital.
