The Armenian delegation headed by chief of staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov is participating in the work of an annual Strategic Military Partner Conference organized by NATO command in Tbilisi.

This annual event enables Chiefs of Defence of NATO and Partner nations to share their perspecitves on strategic issues of common interest as well as implementation of the initiative agreed at the summit in Wales in 2014 between NATO and Alliance partners.

The new initiative is aimed at ensuring favorable conditions for the training of units involved in joint peacekeeping missions.

After completion of the conference on Wednesday, the Armenian Defense Ministry delegation will start an official visit to Georgia.
