YEREVAN. – Russian officials were sympathetic to the arguments of the Armenian side referring to incorrect statements, head of Heritage faction Ruben Hakobyan said.

“Now they do not sound as they used to. Earlier, Armenia was often called “an outpost” or “a military base” in Russia. Colleagues accepted their mistakes. There are some people in Duma who express their opinions, but it is not universal. This is a result of our sincere and free dialogue,” Hakobyan said summing up a meeting of inter-parliamentary committee on cooperation between the Armenian National Assembly and Russian Federal Assembly.
