YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 476.17/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 0.07 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 536.60 (up by AMD 6.69), that of one British pound was AMD 727.97 (up by AMD 2.80), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.50 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 245.87, AMD 17,954.65 and AMD 16,809.52, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 476.74/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 476.9/$1.
