The Museum of the Great War of the Pays de Meaux, a French city in the north-east of Paris, will host on June 13 the conference ‘What is Genocide?’, during which the topic ‘Slaughter of Armenians after hundred years’ will be discussed, Nouvelles d'Arménie reports.

The conference will be conducted by Alban Perrin, Holocaust Memorial Education Coordinator and lecturer at the Institute of Political Studies in Bordeaux.

“The planned and systematic killing of the population on racial, ethnic, national and religious ground implies the existence of a centralized authority, which possessed important logistical means used for criminal purposes. Besides polemics, the reporter will also touch on the largest genocides of the 20th century, specifically the Armenian Genocide of 1915,” the organizers said.
