YEREVAN. – The decline in foreign investment to Armenia is not a result of the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Deputy Prime Minister, International Economic Integration and Reforms Minister Vache Gabrielyan told the above-said to reporters on Tuesday.
According to the minister, the EEU accession simply coincided with the economic downturn in the region.
“At any rate, there is an interest around new industrial projects in Armenia,” Gabrielyan added.
