The citizens of 94 countries can enter Georgia without visas and stay in the country during a year, the relevant decision by the Georgian government came into effect on Tuesday, Sputnik-Georgia reported.

The new rules refer to CIS states, inclining Russia, as well as U.S., EU members and other countries.

Thus, the decision as of September 1, 2014 ceased to be in force. According to the previous decision, the foreigners had to get multiple visas with a validity of 180 days, with the right to stay in the country for 90 days.
