YEREVAN. – In 2014, the fight against shadow business has brought 16 billion drams (approx. US$33,825,166) to Armenia.

The Minister of Finance, Gagik Khachatryan, on Wednesday stated the aforementioned in the parliament.

In his words, this amount has enabled to compensate for the tax benefits of businesses.

“We compensated for these decreased revenues owing to the effective combat against shadow economy,” the minister concluded.
