YEREVAN. – A total of 23 cases of snake bites—one of them, fatal—were recorded in Armenia in the first five months of the current year.
The Ministry of Health Chief Toxicologist, Mikayel Gabrielyan, stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Thursday.
He noted that in case of a snake bite, an ambulance should be called right away.
“[But] until arrival of the ambulance, first aid must be administered to the victim,” Gabrielyan added.
