YEREVAN. – It is clear that Turkey is a NATO partner, but if the members of the Alliance want their partners to look like them, once they will have to call a spade a spade, member of the Armenian delegation to NATO PA Tevan Poghosyan said.
Many NATO member states have recognized the Armenian Genocide, condemned it and realized that they are making contribution to their own security, Poghosyan emphasized.
“But the same NATO representatives are trying not to call names while delivering reports during some conferences,” the MP added.
A couple of days ago Obama said that Turkey has to change its policy and manage its own borders.
“All extremist groups of the Islamic State are crossing the borders of Turkey. Where do they get finding? Where the stolen oil is going? Where this oil is sold: in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Israel or Jordan? It is Turkey, and do not be ashamed, call its name,” he said.
