Selina Dogan, representative of Turkey’s opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) who managed to become an MP as a result of the country’s parliamentary elections, gave an interview to the Istanbul-based Armenian Agos newspaper.

Touching on the outcomes of the elections, she noted that she had always said that the age of the ruling Republican People’s Party has come, and this was proved by the results of the election. According to her, currently the most important role is played by CHP, noting that the party leadership is satisfied with the election results.

The Armenian MP said she wants to work at a bill on struggle against inciting hatred and discrimination.

Selina Dogan was born in 1977 in Istanbul. She is married and has two children. Dogan speaks Armenian, Turkish, English and French.  She also works in a law firm.
