YEREVAN. - The tailing dump processing of Armenia’s Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine will enable receiving metallic concentrate of at least 4 types, Areg Galstyan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources said in the parliament on Thursday, introducing the bill on investment program of dump processing. The bill was approved by the government on May 7.
The program investor, Alyotig LLC will produce metallic concentrate of at least 4 types, as well as products from non-metallic mineral deposits.
It is specifically planned to extract not only copper and molybdenum, but also iron, base metals and nonmetals.
During one year the company will have to draw up the master plan of the work, which must be approved by the government within 3 months.
