From now on, the Armenian Public Council (APC) will be a member in the Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions of French-Speaking Countries (UCESIF).

The respective decision was made Thursday at the UCESIF congress in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco.

APC Chairman Vazgen Manukyan is also attending this event, which is held on Thursday and Friday.

In his address, Manukyan presented the APC’s activities and objectives, which is the creation of a public platform for dialogue among different segments of society and between the society and the authorities.

He also underscored the APC’s membership in the UCESIF, and noted that the APC fully shares the principles that lie at the core of this francophone union.

Vazgen Manukyan also stressed that Armenia is a member in the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
