Due to a technical malfunction, the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the US Department of State has temporarily suspended the issuance of visas and US passports in its embassies.
This incident was triggered by a malfunction of the technical equipment where the consular database is kept.
As a result, the processing of documents of people who have applied after Tuesday, June 9, will be delayed.
The matter, however, refers solely to the US foreign missions.
