YEREVAN. - Gevorg Yeghiazaryan, an Armenian soldier who got ballistic wound, is physically preparing for his departure to Germany.

Naira Galstyan, the soldier’s mother told Armenian News – NEWS.am that Gevorg sits for several minutes every day so that he can withstand the flight. “He has already completed the course of treatment and feels relatively better,” she said.

Gevorg Yeghiazaryan was injured on December 27, 2011 on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, being shot by the adversary. He has a serious spine injury.

To help the soldier, an account was opened in UNIBANK. $43 thousand were collected in the form of donations. The lacking 7 thousand were transferred by the Armenian government members.
