Russia has made a secret proposal to Brussels to settle trade relations between Moscow, EU and Kyiv after the Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU comes into effect, Der Spiegel writes.

A source told the newspaper that a 52-page document with proposals from Kremlin was received in Brussels on June 3, Vesti.ru reported.

The draft agreement is an attempt to preserve Russian interests after economic element of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU comes into effect on January 1, 2016, the article says.

The document underscores important role of the common economic area from Atlantic to Pacific oceans and contains demands on protection of Russian investors.
