YEREVAN. – The fact that three Armenians have been elected to the Turkish parliament is unprecedented, political analyst Styopa Safaryan told reporters.

“Three deputies of Armenian origin is an interesting sign not in terms of Erdogan's policy, but in terms of expecting changes in Turkish society,” Safaryan said, adding that each vote in the Turkish parliament is important.

Political analyst is confident that Armenian deputies will be attentive towards the Armenian community, but will adhere to the policy of their parties.

Three Armenian candidates, who were nominated by three different political parties, have been elected into parliament in the June 7 parliamentary election in Turkey.
