YEREVAN. – The Armenian delegation did not face the question of whether to go or not to the European Games in Baku, Sport Minister Gabriel Ghazaryan told reporters.
“Sport and politics should not mix. The European Games are not Baku's property. These are games held by the European Olympic committees, members of the IOC. Therefore, Armenia had no reasons not to go there because the host city is Baku,” he said.
The Minister said he contacts the Armenian nation every day to learn how they are.
