YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 473.96/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 0.48 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 541.21 (up by AMD 6.75), that of one British pound was AMD 754.45 (up by AMD 7.63), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.89 (up by AMD 0.11), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 243.51, AMD 17,950.56 and AMD 16,350.55, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 12,550,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 473.67/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 473.5/$1.
