YEREVAN. – There are no phone contacts between the heads of Armenian and Azerbaijani defense ministries, Armenia's Seyran Ohanyan said responding to the questions by delegates of the NATO PA Rose-Roth seminar.

The lack of phone contacts is conditioned by excluding this opportunity by Azerbaijan, he said, adding that connection has been lost since 2008 and it was Azerbaijan's decision.

“As a part of the negotiation process, meetings were held, during which there have been conversations between me and the head of the relevant department of Azerbaijan. There are contacts between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, unlike between the defense ministries,” the Minister added.
