YEREVAN. – Former Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Jacques Faure said there is very little leverage to influence Azerbaijan.

His comment came in response to a remark of Heritage parry MP Tevan Poghosyan on presence of the mechanisms of the OSCE Minsk Group to punish Azerbaijan for regular violation of ceasefire regime.

There is no financial leverage to influence Azerbaijan or to deprive the country of membership in international agencies, Faure said during Rose-Roth seminar in Yerevan.

“Therefore, we have to insist on the method of convincing,” former Co-Chair said.
