Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel on behalf of his government recognized the Armenian Genocide that occured in the Ottoman Empire one hundred years ago.
The Belgian PM said he believes the 1915-1917 events should be “considered a genocide",7sur7.be reported.
He also focused on the importance of a dialogue between Armenia and Turkey.
His statement was welcomed by the appluase of almost all parliament members.
