YEREVAN. – By expanding and deepening relations with NATO, Armenia will once again earn Russia's respect in terms of sovereignty, Armenian analyst Davit Shahnazaryan said during Yerevan-hosted Rose-Roth seminar.

He is confident that NATO is also ready to expand and deepen cooperation with Armenia. The analyst pointed to active discussions on Russia's willingness to deploy peacekeepers in the Karabakh conflict zone.

“Karabakh conflict zone is the only conflict area in the region having no Russian peacekeepers deployed. Russia is trying to act in parallel with the OSCE Minsk Group involving Turkey. This cannot but be a reason for concern. It is very important that international community supported the OSCE Minsk Group,” he added.
