YEREVAN. – The Armenian government will invite the second tender for the construction of the third section of the North-South road corridor leading to Georgia, Deputy Transport Minister Artur Arakelyan said.
The credit agreements for funding of the construction have been reached, and the works will start from 2016.
“Given the upcoming major upgrade of the road, we refrained from major renovation programs at the current asphalt canvas. When completed, we will get a modern, high-quality highway,” the official assured.
