President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Anne Brasseur is following closely the developments in Armenia, she wrote in her Twitter micro blog.  

Anne Brasseur also published the link of the statement, made earlier by the PACE co-rapporteurs on Armenia.

Earlier, the co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Armenia by PACE, Axel Fischer and Sir Alan Meale have appealed to police as well as protesters to show maximum restraint in order to ensure that peaceful protests can take place unhindered, without them degrading into violence as happened on the evening of Monday 22 June.
