YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.32/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 0.21 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 520.99 (up by AMD 1.55), that of one British pound was AMD 746.66 (up by AMD 1.16), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.46 (down by AMD 0.14), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 223.29, AMD 16,687.04  and AMD 14,624.8, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 10,750,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 478.42/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 478.25/$1.
