Exchange rate of the Russian national currency, the ruble (RUB), is at an all-time low at the Moscow Exchange.
Even though the first transactions were conducted at RUB 65.3-65.498 per one US dollar ($), the exchange rate was set at RUB 65.42/$1, several minutes later.
The euro (€) exchange rate was at RUB 72.65/€1, which is up by 47 kopecks.
Analysts link this continued devaluation of the ruble to the falling oil prices, reported Interfax news agency.
