YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 473.99/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is up by AMD 0.91 from the previous business day in the country.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 539.54 (up by AMD 3.35), that of one British pound was AMD 727.81 (up by AMD 1.21), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.76 (up by AMD 0.06), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 243.67, AMD 17,548.62 and AMD 14,903.87, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 750,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.2/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 475.2/$1.
