YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia press service provided information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Accordingly, Russian citizen Maksim Baronov, 27, had made an unsuccessful parachute landing on the slope of a mountain near Aparan town in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province, on October 11 at 2:28pm.

And head of the intensive care unit at “Erebouni” Medical Center in capital city of Yerevan, Armen Muradyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Baronov is connected to an artificial respiration apparatus.

“He is in serious condition,” added Muradyan. “He is in a coma.”

As a result of the fall, the Russian citizen has sustained a brain injury, fractured his chest, and broken his pelvic bones.
