YEREVAN. – Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia, businessman Ara Abrahamyan, who is going to form a political party and run in the next parliamentary election in Armenia, held a press conference on Wednesday, reported 168 Zham daily.

“During the [press] conference, Ara Abrahamyan presented this wish of his in such a way that the Armenian people will [, as if,] have to stand in line to express him gratitude. 

“Ara Abrahamyan, among other ‘virtues,’ is also honest, boundlessly honest to an inadmissible degree. ‘[Russian President Vladimir] Putin gives me instructions, I carry [them] out,’ ‘Putin is always right.’ These are citations from Ara Abrahamyan’s [press] conference.

“Yesterday’s [i.e. Wednesday’s] statements by Ara Abrahamyan are not only another country’s interference in Armenia’s internal affairs, but direct intervention, whose consequences could be more irrevocable that than a military invasion,” wrote 168 Zham.
