YEREVAN. – The Armenian government on Thursday approved the draft decision on signing of an agreement between Armenia and Spain in the economic area.

The signing of this agreement will provide an opportunity to develop long-term economic relations between the two countries and create favorable conditions to improve business relations.

It provides for the establishment of the Armenian-Spanish intergovernmental commission in the field of economy. Cooperation between the two countries will affect the tourism industry, science, technology, transport and transit, information, regional development, agriculture and environmental protection.
