YEREVAN. – We cannot cooperate solely with Turkey, or only one partner, in general, to solve the refugee problem in Europe. 

The German Ambassador to Armenia, Bernhard Matthias Kiesler, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am. He stated this in response to our query as to how his country perceives Germany-Turkey collaboration in resolving the migration crisis. 

“It’s very important that everyone works together to solve the refugee crisis in Europe,” the ambassador stressed. “As for Turkey, we don’t collaborate with solely one partner that can solve this problem; this is an international problem. I believe, to go forward, Europe must develop common links based on solidarity.”
